Elegant impressive

The single most memorable part of our trip to Amsterdam and the most quaint, elegant and impressive way to see the City! This is a must-do activity if you are able. My fiancé and I spent an amazing afternoon touring the canals on the vintage yacht, enjoying a gourmet lunch and champagne while listening to the history and anecdotes shared by the charismatic captain Reinhard Spronk. Not only did we have an amazing day, but we left armed with restaurant and activity recommendations from the captain, which only improved the rest of our trip. Enjoy!!!!!!!

Amazing stories

We booked a trip for the clients of the company I work for and it was great.
The captain told us amazing stories of Amsterdam, the service was unique. Bites, drinks and lunch were served as well. I also have to add that having a ride in this boat is a whole experience as every little corner of the boat is special.
At the end of the trip everyone was really happy.
Book it for any special event and you won’t regret.

Private dinner cruis

My wife and I had a wonderful private dinner cruise with Reinhard. The trip was absolutely worth the money and so much better than the packed dinner cruises all over Amsterdam. We were able to see the town and visit many small quiet areas. Perfect night!

Top-notch experience

I bought this tour for myself and 4 of my travel buddies who were meeting up in Amsterdam for a few days. The boat was immaculate. Our captain knew all sorts of information about the canals in Amsterdam because he lives in one of the house boats. The “champagne” included wine and beer and juice as well as snacks. I highly recommend this tour as you will not be disappointed.

Entertaining Private Tour. This private boat tour was so much fun. The Captain had so many great stories and facts about Amsterdam, and was funny, too. Incredible selection of drinks and great chocolate! 
It was rainy and chilly outside, but the enclosed boat was cozy.

If you’re looking for a private, more personalized experience on a really cool boat this is the way to go! Captain Reinhard was professional and extremely knowledgeable! The holiday lights and scenery were gorgeous! This was definitely one of my favorite experiences of Amsterdam, and will do this again when I return. A+++

Beautiful boat in beautiful Amsterdam!!! This was our second time this year to take the cruise on this boat, and it just keeps getting better. Beautiful boat with the knowledgable Captain Reinhard. We loved every minute of it and invited our friends to join us this time. Great opportunity to really see Amsterdam and enjoy this phenomenal city. So glad we were able to get a reservation and it went very, very, smoothly. We will probably do it again on our next trip there!

Superb Personal Attention & Informationally Rich.
At 3 PM on a crisp September afternoon Rederij De Jordaan eased his immaculately maintained, sleek salon boat alongside the dock and welcomed us aboard with a gracious smile, chocolate covered strawberries, cheese and wine. What was billed as a 1.5 hour tour became a fascinating & informative cruise of more than 2 hours around Amsterdam Harbor during which he generously shared an obvious love for his city and its rich history. We could not have been more pleased with his service. If you consider a tour of this type you MUST book him!

Our family has enjoyed 3 memorable trips over the last years with Amsterdam’s most prolific storyteller. Our family has taken three trips with Rederij De Jordaan over the last few years. The experience has been remarkable every single time: Captain Reinhard listens to his Customer’s wishes but always makes sure he builds an unexpected, memorable visit into the tour. Our tip: ask Reinhard to tell you as much as he can about the city and its history. Then have that glass of champagne, nibble on Dutch cheese or chocolates, take in the view and listen to Amsterdam’s most prolific teller of tall stories, most of which are actually true 🙂

Such a wonderful evening!

A must while in Amsterdam!
This was such a lovely experience in Amsterdam! The captain took us on a private tour of the Holiday Lights. He was a very nice man and had very interesting and thorough explanations of each instatlation of the light exhibit. Also, lovely snacks were out — cashews, some fresh veggies, strawberries and chocolates. Such a nice treat. Would highly recommend this!

Best part of our trip

My husband and I booked a private evening tour for ourselves and our siblings, and we all agreed it was the highlight of our week in Amsterdam. Our captain, Brian, was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the history of the city. The boat is beautiful and the snacks/drinks were a nice treat. Highly recommend!

Absolutely, the best tour we had in Amsterdam. Uniformed guide who as much an art
history major and an excellent boater. We had all the wine, champaign, cheese, olives, andgreat information you could ever desire. I would definitely do this tour again.

Perfect Family night on the canal.
We enjoyed a elegant voyage on this magical little ship. Captain Reinhard was a friendly and knowledgeable skipper. The bubbly never stopped flowing start to finish. There are less expense ways to cruise the canals, but none are luxurious and unique. Highly recommended for a special occasion.

Gorgeous vintage

What a pleasant way to see Amsterdam. Our captain was very knowledgeable about the city, European history and was very accommodating. We enjoyed champagne, white wine, strawberries and a platter of different cheeses. The boat itself is a gorgeous vintage 1930’s wooden paneled sight in itself. Perfect for a romantic tour we did not know we would be the only ones or a small intimate group. It was one of the most memorable parts of our trip!

Wonderful time

Perfect Family night on the canal.
Our guide at We Bike Amsterdam recommended Reinhard for a private boat excursion on the canals, and he did not disappoint. We were on the Welmoed and the boat was perfect for our multi-generational family of 10. We had two small children, ages 2 and 4, and Reinhard had life jackets that fit them. Our tour lasted 1.5 hours and we rode on the small canals and the bigger Amstel River. Everyone, age 2 to 70, had a wonderful time.

Really romantic

Wonderful stroll down the canal. Captain Bryan was absolutely fantastic and entertaining. He was ready for us outside of our hotel (W Amsterdam) which was great because we were literally in Amsterdam for 24 hours and the less walking the better. The boat was ready with wine and cheese plates. He gave us a lot of great information about Amsterdam, its history and culture. Our group loved it!!! would recommend! We went at sunset which was really romantic.
