The Amsterdam Light Festival event from November 27, 2025 to January 18, 2026 offers a fantastic opportunity to experience the city atmosphere with a great group aboard the beautiful historic and heated saloon boat WELMOED.
The city center of Amsterdam lights up with sculptures, projections and installations created by artists from all over the world. This year’s theme is “The Future” (our Future and our Legacy).
The Amsterdam Light Festival is of course best experienced by saloon boat tour with Rederij De Jordaan. With a group of 1–8 people aboard your privately rented saloon boat Welmoed with personal captain Rein, who shares many wonderful stories about the city of Amsterdam.
The Amsterdam Light Festival lights switch on at 5:00 PM and the artworks turn off at 11:00 PM (on Sunday/Monday/Tuesday until 10:00 PM). Book your private saloon boat now!
