I would recommend Captain Reinhard Spronk’s Canal Tour as a MUST DO for anyone wanting an extremely informed, courteous and fantastic tour guide! The pick up location is easy and convenient in Amsterdam. He has a wonderful spread of snacks and beverages to choose from. Blankets if it is chilly (which we needed after the sun went down).
His boat is clean and well-maintained. He truly cares for what he does and is personable, friendly and easy going. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! You will not be disappointed!
Both mine and my moms phones died (Oops!) Therefore, since it was our first day in Amsterdam, we did not know exactly how to get home. We had been depending upon the map app (Lesson learned!) our apartment rental was just slightly past the departure point and he kindly went a little farther to get us closer to home and gave us directions. So thoughtful! Thank you Captain for an amazing introduction to such a beautiful city!
