Captain Reinhard is an amazing guide who will take you on a tour of the canals and the harbor/inlet in a beautiful boat, providing a truly special experience. We have done canal tours with 4 of the “big boat” companies and 2 of the “smaller group” open boats and Reinhard’s experience exceeded all others by a mile.

His boat is a true classic, providing you the chance to cruise around either inside in a warm, beautifully crafted cabin with fully stocked bar and delicious and well thought out snacks (from chocolate and strawberries to cherry tomatoes, cashews, and a cheese plate), or outside on comfortable cushioned bench seats in the rear. He is extremely knowledgeable not only about the history of the city but provided insight and fun facts about Dutch history and the strong Dutch connection to NYC.

Having been to Amsterdam over 20 times, this stands out as one of the most luxurious and unique experiences we have had. It is well worth the price to pay up for his tour compared to a “semi-private” small group tour with open bar – you will really make a lifelong memory.
